Nicola Clarke joined the John Frieda House of Experts in July 2007.  Nicola is also acting as Creative Colour Director for the John Frieda brands and will be actively involved in all product development and trial, in particular for the Colour Care ranges: Sheer Blonde, Brilliant Brunette and Radiant Red.

Nicola Clarke has been colouring hair since 1987 and is one of the most influential and sought after colourists on both sides of the Atlantic.  Her talents lie in enhancing natural hair colour to create beautiful and lustrous looking hair.

Nicola is widely acclaimed for her flair and creativity, and has established herself as the favoured colourist of top Beauty Directors from elite publications such as Vogue, Elle, Glamour, Marie Claire, The Face and Wallpaper, putting her name to countless front covers. She is also the top choice for a number of the world's most renowned photographers from David Bailey and Ulli Weber to Nick Knight, not only for editorial work, but also for multi million pound ad campaigns, from the Rimmel campaign with Kate Moss to the GAP campaign with Madonna.

Nicola regularly works with today's most high profile style icons both male and female: Kate Winslet, Kate Moss, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cate Blanchett, Scarlett Johansson and Madonna. Nicola has been instrumental in creating some of Madonna's ever changing iconic looks, turning her from red to caramel and Brunette to Blonde. Also Leonardo DeCaprio, Jake Gyllenhal, Colin Farrell and the new James Bond actor Daniel Craig are among some of her male clients.

She is also responsible for creating inspired and memorable looks for the stars in some of today's biggest films including Cold Mountain, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Shakespeare In Love and Vanity Fair with Reese Witherspoon.  Most recently, Nicola coloured and styled Cate Blachett's hair for the recent box office hit Babel, the forthcoming film 'Sleuth' starring Jude Law and the film 'In Bruge' with Clémence Poésy and Colin Farrell. Nicola is currently working with Kate Winslet on her much anticipated film starring alongside Leonardo DeCaprio and directed by Sam Mendes, titled 'Revolutionary Road', due out in 2008.
